FAQs
-
I accept walk-ins! Itβs always best to send me a message (via instagram or email) or call the studio prior to arriving - just to make sure that I have free time that day. But Iβll always to my best to be accomodating.
-
Absolutely. If you plan on getting a rework or cover up itβs best to organise an in-person consultation, that way we can discuss your ideas and work out the best way forward.
-
Yes! Itβs always best to let the scarring heal for some time before getting it tattooed over, but itβs definitely possible. Iβll discuss options with you during our consultation.
-
Iβm happy to do both! I can redraw designs based on old work that Iβve done, or design something completely custom based on your ideas - or tattoo from my available flash pieces.
-
I specialise in Japanese inspired black and grey tattooing, or dark medieval inspired pieces. But I am happy to take on pieces in a variety of styles!
-
Iβm happy to do most things if my skill set is suited to the piece. If you have an idea that youβd like me to tattoo for you but are unsure if Iβll take it on - just submit the contact form! If I donβt think Iβm the best artist for the job, Iβm happy to refer you onto one of my co-workers who may be better suited.
-
It is very dependant on what youβd like to get. Sessions can range from 30 minutes, to 8 hours. Iβll be able to give you a rough estimate in a reply via email (or during your consultation) once Iβve seen your ideas.
-
Something loose and comfortable is always best, especially for long appointments. Keep in mind that the area youβd like to get tattooed needs to be easily accessible, so dress accordingly. Also - refrain from wearing light coloured clothing, as you might get some ink or stencil on it.
-
If you feel unwell or need a break during your appointment, that is totally fine. Just communicate with me on what you need, and Iβll do my best to help where I can.
-
Yes! Free touch ups are included in the price of your tattoo. If your tattoo is more than 6 months old, or if something out of my control has damaged the tattoo - I may charge for it. Itβs best to reach out to me via email or Instagram to discuss what needs to be done!
-
Generally speaking a tattoo takes roughly 10-14 days to heal. Over the following months it will continue to settle into your skin as the top layers of skin grow back.
-
Please refer to the βAftercareβ section on my website.
-
Do your best to keep it out of the sun (use sunscreen) and keep your skin moisturised. Sun exposure is the biggest factor in making tattoos fade, so be mindful of this.
-
I suggest waiting 2 weeks before swimming or exercising. Once your tattoo is healed, youβre fine to get back to the beach & the gym.
-
Yes ID is required. You must be over 18 to get tattooed in NSW, so please bring your drivers license or proof-of-age card with you.
-
Yes we sell a variety of different aftercare products in the studio. Iβll discuss with you your best options at the end of the session.
-
Cash is preferred! Unfortunately we donβt accept eftpos. But if youβd prefer to do a bank transfer that can be arranged.
-
For a standard booking the deposit is $200, and this is included in the final price of the tattoo. For larger scale multi-day appointments the deposit can range from $300 - $500, and is also included in the price of your final session.
-
If you need to reschedule your appointment please give me as much notice as possible, I understand that life happens. However if you give me less than 48 hours notice you will lose your deposit, and you will be required to pay another to rebook your appointment.
